Italian Food near New Vista Wine Walk
Taste marvelous wine while supporting an excellent charitable cause here in Las Vegas—and throw in a delicious Italian-style meal at Mercato della Pescheria while you’re at it!
On Saturday, April 13th, the New Vista Wine Walk will kick off from Town Square West, not terribly far south of our St. Mark’s Square location. Kick off or wind down your grapes-for-good evening with Mercato della Pescheria!
The New Vista Wine Walk
After nabbing a ticket for the New Vista Wine Walk and registering at Town Square West—right next to Town Square Park—you’ll get to embark on a vino-vaunting walkabout, armed with a map of participating establishments and a snazzy souvenir glass. The Wine Walk gives you a minimum of 15-ounce tasting pours of a variety of wines—and, depending on the location, possibly other cheery libations such as craft beer, cocktails, or sake.
The New Vista Wine Walk takes place that Saturday night from 7 to 10 PM. Tickets cost $30 (single) and $60 (two) ahead of April 13th, and $35 and $70, respectively, on the day of.
Musicians and DJs provide the soundtrack for the New Vista Wine Walk, the proceeds from which go toward a fantastic cause.
The New Vista Organization
The Wine Walk is a major fundraiser for New Vista, which helps provide shelter, training, and in-house support for Southern Nevada individuals with Down Syndrome, autism-spectrum disorders, and other intellectual disabilities. The group has been doing this vital work since 1986, when it was established by a number of parents of children facing such issues.
As the New Vista website states, “The overall goal of New Vista is to empower people through a better quality of life. Our skilled staff works to improve each individual’s ability to be independent and to build self-esteem through obtaining their goals.”
