Best Craft Cocktail Recipes from Las Vegas Mixologist

Here at Mercato Della Pescheria, we take our mixology as seriously as our cookery. If you’ve ever ordered from our cocktail menu, you already know that; if you haven’t, consider this blogpost an invitation to do so!

We thought we’d put the spotlight on some of the tried-and-true house specialty drinks whipped up behind the Mercato Della Pescheria bar by our master mixologist—and share the recipe for a brand-new craft cocktail creation of his!

Cherry-Almond Fizz

Mercato Della Pescheria’s signature version of the fizz combines Disaronno Amaretto and Heering Cherry Liqueur with Peychaud’s Bitters, fresh lemon sour, cranberry, and egg white: an impossibly elegant cocktail!

La Dolce Vita

Our La Dolce Vita incorporates the fine Malfi Gin Con Limone—distilled with lemons grown on Italy’s Mediterranean coast—and the elderberry-flavored liqueur St-Germain with house-made blueberry grenadine and lemon juice. It’s a whole lot of citrusy and berry goodness—with just the right amount of kick. “The sweet life,” indeed!

Italian Highball

This perennial favorite weds Skyy Infusions Georgia Peach Vodka and Aperol with San Pellegrino Blood Orange Soda, white-peach puree, and fresh lemon. It’s essentially just what the doctor ordered, no matter the occasion.

A Brand-New Mercato Della Pescheria Cocktail: The Fedora

Our mixologist has schemed up a new cocktail that’s already winning over plenty of fans. It’s called the Fedora, and it’s anchored by a scintillating partnership between Flor de Cana 7-Year Rum and two Italian liqueurs—Tuaca (a flavored brandy from Livorno) and Amaro Averna (a Sicilian digestif)—plus espresso and simple syrup.

Here’s how we serve it: stirred and poured over ice in a collins glass, then topped with a dash of steamed milk and a dolor of foamed milk. The final touch? The addition of three espresso beans.

The Breadth of the Mercato Della Pescheria Bar Menu

Of course, the Mercato Della Pescheria bar menu comes royally stocked with other exceptional cocktails: from the classic Italian Negroni to a whole cadre of martinis—with a standout wine list, a wide range of draft and bottled beer, and some zesty Italian sodas to boot.

We do hope, however, that you’ll sample the above drinks, each of which showcases a bit of Italian spirit and a bit of mixological creativity. And definitely give the freshly debuted Fedora a college try: It’s certainly a worthy addition to our Mercato Della Pescheria lineup of craft cocktails.
